Impaired Vision

The hurricane of colors finally subsided, yet the skin around the original rash was now stained a grotesque shade of gray.  The pain had dulled, however a deep throbbing remained around his swollen groin.
Paul grabbed a nearby towel to dry off.  The feathery cotton felt comforting as he wiped the moisture from his face and moved toward the pulsating gray canvas.  As he wiped the water from the spot, he noticed the color faded with each pass.  As it disappeared, the throbbing calmed until it was gone completely.  Oddly, the stain had not transferred to the towel, instead it seemed to have absorbed into his flesh.
The area was a bit red with rawness from the scrubbing, but much better.  As his stomach began to rumble, Paul decided to pull a clean outfit from his bag and head to the lobby to find a good restaurant nearby.  Rarely did he eat lunch, but the long trip must have encouraged his sudden hunger.
As Paul made his way to the lobby, he noticed it to be rather quiet.  Noticing that there was no one behind the desk, he decided to sit for a spell until the clerk returned.  As he waited, the prodding in his stomach was replaced by a sudden fogginess in his head.  His vision blurred for a moment, so he shut his eyes tightly and pinched the bridge of his nose.  This always seemed to help when he was plagued with a headache.
Although not completely gone, the tricked seemed to work.  He opened his eyes, once again, and found the room lobby to be empty.  He found it quite peculiar, but guessed that most people were at lunch.  His hunger remained, but felt that he had better sit a bit linger to ensure the hazy feeling in his head did not return.  The desk clerk should return soon, and he would ask for a couple aspirin as well as the nearest recommended restaurant.
A door behind the desk opened slowly and the receptionist emerged.  She noticed Paul and smiled a silent hello.  Her aura seemed to glow eerily like, almost like the Indigo color that ran down his showers drain.  He stood up, slightly dizzy, to approach the counter.  As he did, a man appeared beside him, radiating a frightening color he did not recognize.
"We Need to talk", He Demanded.
